The 'panorama of London' presented in this hand-coloured spiral board game published by John Harris in 1809 includes, at space number 43, a representation of 'the election at Covent Garden'. This sketch of a familiar scene in and around the hustings at Covent Garden would have particularly evoked the most recent Westminster election of 1807, which had seen the spectacular victory of Sir Francis Burdett, as well as reflecting the level of interest in Westminster elections more generally.
