Printed address by John Bettesworth Trevanion, offering himself as a candidate in the Grampound election of 1808 ('I am not, I trust, too late in offering myself to your notice as a Candidate'). Bettesworth Trevanion appeals to the 'independent conduct that has so greatly distinguished the Electors of the Borough of Grampound'. An ink annotation on the address reads: 'White Hart St Austell'. Ultimately, Bettesworth Trevanion did not stand as a candidate in the election.
