A white metal medal made in support of Henry Lascelles's unsuccessful campaign for the Yorkshire election of 1807. The obverse of the medal is inscribed 'LASCELLES FOR EVER'; the reverse is inscribed with the campaign slogan: 'IN MIND INDEPENDENT IN EXERTION INDEFATIGABLE'. The Lascelles family was deeply involved in slavery.
