Punch Bowl

National Maritime Museum, Greenwich, London

Delft punch bowl, probably produced for Admiral Sir George Brydges Rodney's damagingly expensive campaign for the Northampton election of 1768. The inside of the bowl features a portrait of Rodney, with the inscription 'ADMIRAL RODNEY FOR EVER'.
