Delft punch bowl, probably produced for the Newcastle-upon-Tyne election of 1741, supporting the (successful) candidates, Walter Calverley Blackett and Nicholas Fenwick. The inside of the bowl features a Bacchic figure sitting on a barrel holding a bottle and a cup and is inscribed 'LETT US DRINK SUCCESS TO BLACKETT AND FENWICK'.
