A white metal medal made in support of William Wilberforce's campaign to be re-elected as an MP for Yorkshire in 1807. The obverse of the medal is inscribed 'WILBERFORCE FOR EVER'; the reverse has the inscription 'HUMANITY IS THE CAUSE OF THE PEOPLE': a reference to Wilberforce's role in the abolitionist movement.
