Gothic-style armchair (and one of two accompanying carrying poles) made for the chairing of Benjamin Disraeli, if Disraeli was elected as an MP for Chipping Wycombe in the contested by-election of June 1832. The chair is painted in Disraeli's campaign colours (cream and pink). In the event, Disraeli was not returned.
