Participation & Electoral Culture
Eighteenth-century elections generated vast quantities of print (including handbills and satirical prints), material artefacts such as ceramics and cockades, and even architectural structures. The project has brought together many surviving examples of electoral artefacts, and recreated others, such as election ballads. You can search for these here, or take a tour through some of the highlights in our curated online exhibitions.
